The lever-type structure allows for extended detection range of cable pulling motion, eliminating the possibility of false detections due to thermal expansion or stretching/contraction of the cable. Ideal for outdoor applications as well. Application example of Belt Conveyor Protection This rope detector can be installed directly in the upper position on the conveyor belt. Operating principle Pulling force on the cable fixed to the operating lever will cause the operating lever to be locked at 25 degrees from the vertical position, activating the emergency stop signal output. Pressing the reset lever down will return the operating lever to a vertical position and will release the lock. When emergency stop operation is activated by the detection feature, the emergency stop state will be retained until the lock is opened manually. (The emergency stop button works the same way.)
